Capacity Building for Nonprofits is More Important Than Ever

I have written recently about why intermediaries are important in the nonprofit sector. (see article here) One of the most critical services intermediaries provide is to build the capacity of the nonprofit organizations with which they work. Those nonprofits in turn provide vital services to families, at-risk youth, and vulnerable populations. The National Council of nonprofits described the situation facing these organizations best:
